So much to see, so much to do, so little time………
Yesterday we completed following the N2 and N1 highway routes. Words can’t describe some of the sights we have seen: tropical rain forest, old lava flows upon which new life already flows, highlands reminding one of the European alps, rugged mountain tops and dry arid land so reminiscent of Australia, creole homes in muted pastels, waterfalls that would be spectacular during the wet season……………..
Amazing island. If we had our time again, we would bypass Mauritius in order to spend much more time here.
It’s time to think about purchasing the tilt – shift and 800mm lenses. Tilt shift for architecture – removes the distortion of lines when when shooting buildings, and 800mm for those long distance and nature shots . So often the line ‘if it’s not good enough, it’s not close enough’, is true.
