The cabin is coming along. Cupboard shelving is being created and the bed base cut. The camera was returned yesterday, so photos will start coming once more.

With the wood arriving, Bob has commenced on the next stage of the forward cabin refurb. With both cameras in for servicing, there are no pictures to show the progress at the moment. Bob has continued working on the framing in the forward cabin. The rough spiels are ready to be placed on computer and the photo editing is gradually coming along.
Bob purchased some hatches for the cockpit storage area the other day. Today has seen him commence sizing the current holes for the covers. A last, no more water can find its way in, and the cockpit is another step closer to looking completed. Tomorrow morning, he heads off to purchase the wood for the […]

After an interesting sail, we moored in the yacht club marina early last night. Just a few pics to whet the appetite.
Yesterday morning it was an early start as the engine burst to life and we motored to the main dock in order for the tanks to be refueled. Once back inside our berth, Bob worked on the bowsprit in preparation for the new genoa fitting. Another busy day for Bob as the Genoa was […]

Our trip to Imfolozi Game Reserve (http://www.nature-reserve.co.za/hluhluwe-imfolozi-wildlife-preserve.html) was magical. We had only just crossed the grid into the park, and there was our first elephant sighting: such a graceful animal for their size. Giraffes, baboons, rhinos, deer by the hundreds, zebras, hunting birds and more…. The work on the engine is now complete. With a […]
