It was a waterway of green today.

A green so thick that only 4km later Bob noted smoke emitting from the exhaust for Big Bertha.

There was a blockage, which meant we had need to make stop.

As you can imagine, there was one very unhappy camper.

With moorings few and far between, there was nothing for it! We had to make do with the railings that aligned the roadside.

Bob steered Gratis bank side, whereupon I leaped off with ropes in hand and proceeded to ensure our girl had no chance of roaming.

All cleared at last, with bridges to be waited for and lifted, it was a slow leisurely day on this, our last in Belgium for a while.

4km further on and our stop for the night, alongside an old loading dock in Adinkerke.
